Rich Peverley ne feel pas bien

Dallas forward Rich Peverley reportedly collapsed while sitting on the Dallas Stars bench during Monday's game against Columbus.

Peverley has a history of heart troubles and was actually forced to miss a game last week due to a recurrence of an irregular heartbeat so our prayers are with him during this scary incident. We'll pass along updates to his condition as they become available.


Dallas' Fox TV is reporting that Rich Peverley is conscious.

This is great news as Peverley collapsed at the bench, six-and-a-half minutes into the first period. The Stars players on the bench noticed it immediately and started slamming their sticks on the boards and yelling to get the attention of the on-ice officials and medical staff. The game is now in a delay and the NHL office in Toronto will make the decision as to whether or not to continue the game. Peverley had a heart condition during training camp and missed a game last week with a heart issue.


The game between the Dallas Stars and the Columbus Blue Jackets has been postponed.

The game was postponed 35 minutes after the Stars' Rich Peverley collapsed on the bench six-and-a-half minutes into the first period. Peverley has had a heart condition in the past with the good news being that he is now conscious. The Blue Jackets were leading 1-0 and the game will be picked up at this point when the NHL decides to reschedule it.
